Harry Potter – Honoring the Dead Book Tag

booktag

Hello fellow book nerds! The other day my best friend texted me with the worst question… out of the 9 Harry Potter character’s that died who would you bring back? I brought this question up and many people had different opinions. So I thought, instead of discussing who we would bring back let’s honor their memory with a book tag!

Here are the rules:

  • Thank the person who tagged you (and paste these rules)
  • Show your house pride!
  • Tag 7 other bloggers.

My House: RAVENCLAW!

I tag the following:

Sirius Black – A book with the best father/mother figure

Dyter – The Darkest Drae Series by Raye Wagner and Kelly St. Clare

Ryn loses her mother at the beginning of the series but Dyter was there throughout the whole series. Every adventure and turn that Ryn went on he was there. Their relationship was amazing and he was always there to hold her when she needed it.

Severus Snape – A book with a redeemable character

King Severn Argentine – Kingfountain Series by Jeff Wheeler

Oh in the beginning of this series how horrible King Severn was. I hated him and thought he was so cruel. It is amazing the way Wheeler makes you feel. He definitely redeemed this character and made me care for him at the end.

Albus Dumbledore – A book with a great mentor/teacher

Gandalf – The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkein

This was a tough decision as I really wanted to choose Dumbledore. One of my favorite things about Gandalf is that he’s always there even when you don’t see him. His guidance is not straight forward always but it is in the right direction.

Hedwig – A book with a great animal sidekick

Doe-Eyes – Hunted by Meagan Spooner

I felt like this was the perfect companion for Yeva in this book. Doe-eyes was so loyal and provided her the comfort she needed. I loved the scenes with Doe-eyes in them.

Dobby – A book with a character who created bad scenes on accidents

Grover – Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan

I wouldn’t say he created “bad scenes” but Grover did get scared easily and sometimes that didn’t help the situations they were in. That being said, I could not imagine Percy without Grover. No matter what happened, he was always by Percy’s side and in the end he really came through and saved the day.

Fred Weasley – A book with your favorite brother/sister duo.

Isabelle and Alec Lightwood – The Mortal Instruments series

I love their relationship. They are always looking out and supporting each other. You can read the love and respect they have for each other.

Nymphadora Tonks – A book with the best family feud.

Veturius – An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Oh man is this family feud big. I could not imagine being the son of The Commandant – just waiting for her to kill me.

Cedric Diggory – A book where a character died too young/too soon

Finnick – The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins

I will NEVER get over his death. He should have lived. He should have survived. He should be by Katniss’ side. Period.

Remus Lupin – A book with your favorite shapeshifter

Kol – The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine

There were many books with shapeshifters that I enjoy. I, however, apparently really enjoy dragon shifters. I thought the way the Redwine did the dragons in this book was brilliant and I loved Kol.

    1. Agreed!!! I was torn between Tyrrik from Darkest Drae but I figured I already used that book for one of the answers and I loved the way she did her dragons in The Shadow Queen. Feel free to do the tag😁😁😁
