Hello fellow book nerds! As you know I am participating the in the SailorMoonAThon this month.
Growing up this was seriously one of my favorite shows. I would run home after school in order to watch this show. My husband and I found it on Hulu and have been watching it here and there throughout the year. So when I saw this read-a-thon, I knew I had to participate.
Well, in order to celebrate this read-a-thon, I figured I would make a book tag to go with it, because – why not? So here are the rules:
- Copy and paste the rules. Link back to this post so I can see your answers!
- Choose your Sailor Scout
- Tag 9 other Scouts to do this tag.
Easy enough right?
Choose Your Scout
I will always stand by my girl Sailor Jupiter. She was always my favorite and I just love her character so much.
Sailor Moon – Light, Love and Moon
“For love and justice, the pretty Guardian in a sailor suit, Sailor Moon! In the name of the Moon, I’ll punish you!“
This is such a hard one.. I have so many heroines that I absolutely love. There are so many strong and fierce heroines that I have read about. If I have to choose just one though, I think it would be Lia from The Legends of Muirwood. I loved her development in the series and everything she went through.
Sailor Mercury – Water
“Agent of Love and Intelligence, the pretty sailor suited soldier, Sailor Mercury! Douse yourself in water, and repent!“
Book that brought on the waterworks
The Fault in Our Stars was the first book to make me cry. This book was just so amazing and I honestly loved it so much. I really want to reread it some day but I just know I’m not emotionally ready.
Sailor Venus – Star Power
“Protected by Venus, the planet of beauty, Guardian of Love, Sailor Venus! Allow me to punish you with the power of love!“
Book you will always love
I will always love this book. This story is so amazing to me and I honestly think it is so beautifully written. Everything has a meaning and the way it ends. Plus, I still get chills when I read “The circus arrives without warning.” That’s how you know a story has really stuck with you.
Sailor Mars – Fire
“Agent of Love and Fire, the pretty sailor suited soldier Sailor Mars! In the name of Mars, I will chastise you!“
Book featuring dragon or fire
There are so many books with dragons that I absolutely love. Because dragons are amazing! I just started The Last Namsara though and I already feel so invested in this story. I’m really excited to continue the book.
Sailor Jupiter – Earth
“Agent of Love and Courage, the pretty sailor suited soldier Sailor Jupiter! I’ll make you feel so much regret, it’ll leave you numb!”
Book with elemental magic
Avatar: The Last Airbender was one of my favorite shows. When I read The Hundredth Queen series, there was so much that Emily King got right. The story was strong, the characters were strong, everything just flowed. But one of my favorite things about this series was how it gave me so much Avatar feel to it.
Sailor Neptune – Astral Projection
“Likewise, invited by a new age, Sailor Neptune, acting elegantly.“
Book that was out of this world
This book was literally out of this world. I was honestly so blown away with how good it was. There was part of me that was a little worried because of all the hype built around it but honestly, I loved everything about it. This book blew me away and it was amazing.
Sailor Uranus – Super Strength
“Invited by a new age, Sailor Uranus, acting beautifully.“
Book with the strongest character
There are many definitions of a strong character. Physically, mentally, morally… how do you define strength? That was one of the most amazing aspects of Ember in the Ashes. Each character is so strong but in different ways and as the story develops, so does their strength.
Sailor Saturn – Death, Destruction, Rebirth
“My guardian deity is the Planet of Ruin. I am the Guardian of Death and Rebirth, Sailor Saturn!“
Book with the Worst Death
I can honestly think of a ton of books that have deaths that really affect me. But if you know me at all then you know I will NEVER be okay with Finnick’s death. Like, never.
Sailor Pluto – Time & Space
“Guarded by Pluto, planet of time. I am the soldier of revolution, Sailor Pluto!“
Book with Time Travel or Sci-fi
This book has it all! Time travel, space, aliens, and a sassy ship. I really need to reread this book soon and continue the series. I absolutely devoured this book and it was so good.
Tuxedo Mask – Love
“One day, we will vanish. New Senshi and new stars will come. But you, Sailor Moon, you will forever be immortal. You will be the most beautiful star shining in the sky for eternity.“
This answer changes every day. There are so many OTP’s I love out there but I always come back to Emery & Ceony from The Paper Magician series by Charlie Holmberg. I just love them so flipping much.
