#2019BookBloggerAwards Nominations

Hello fellow book nerds!

When I heard about these awards I was so excited. This is such a good way to show recognition for all the hard work bloggers do. While every single one deserves an award here are some of my favorite blogs.

Just remember no matter what I love you all!

If you have any questions check out the post here to get all the rules and how to nominate/vote.

Happy Reading!

BEST OF THEIR AGE

Best Pre-Teen/Teen Book Blogger (13-19)

Kelly at Another Book in the Wall is so fantastic. I have no doubt in my mind that she deserves this nomination

Best Adult Book Blogger (20+)

Alana at The Bookish Chick always makes me laugh and smile when I read her blog – and I love it. She puts a lot of work into what she has to say and it’s always entertaining!

BEST GENRE BLOGGERS

Young Adult

Sarah at The Clever Reader is definitely one of my favorite Young Adult bloggers. I do trust her opinion on a lot of these books.

Romance

Adrianna at Romance Book Binge definitely has my nomination for this. She is my go-to when I have questions about romance books.

Science Fiction / Fantasy

Nick at Out of This World is great for me because he reviews so many books that aren’t circulating around as much (well that I notice anyways). I enjoy seeing what new books I can find on his blog.

Brian at Brian’s Book Blog is fantastic for SciFi and Fantasy audio reviews. I love audiobooks and have actually helped Brian out on a couple but I can always trust his reviews for these genres.

Rain at Book Dragonism has fantastic fantasy recommendations as well! She always goes into the perfect amount of detail in her reviews.

BEST OF BOOK BLOGGING

Best Book Reviews

This was a hard one because there are so many great book reviews out there. But I love Jess’ reviews at Fiction No Chaser. The beginning she always has a great list and I love reading what she has to say.

Best Book Recommendations

A lot of is has to do because we have almost the exact same taste in books but I always trust Amanda at Classy X Book Reviews recommendations.

Auburn at Auburn Reads is another blogger who recommendations I take seriously. I love the passion she gets when she talks about her favorite books.

Best Discussion Posts

I don’t think anyone can object that Kal at Reader Voracious has some of the best discussion posts and guidelines for bloggers out there. I always look forward to what she has to say.

Best Blog Aesthetic

Even if I wasn’t interested (which has yet to happen and I don’t see it happening in the near future) in Destiny at Howling Libraries posts – I always open them up because I love the way her blog works. You can tell all the hard work she puts into it and I love how pretty it all is.

Bee at Bookish Pisces also has a beautiful blog. I love the way she has everything set up and reading her reviews or discussions is always easy to do with the way she has it formatted.

Best Blogging/Writing Voice

Cassandra at The Bibliophagist has such an amazing blogging voice. She always speaks in such a clear way that it is easy to follow what she writes. I really enjoy reading what she has to write and it is always in a profound way.

MISCELLANEOUS

Most Engaged in the Community

Melissa at The Reader and the Chef. She is everywhere and I love it. Melissa is constantly engaged in the community in so many different ways… through Instagram, MTMC Tours, and YABC. What I love about Melissa is even though she has such a strong engagement in the book community, she doesn’t boast about it. You can tell she does it through her love of books.

Best Social Media Influencer

Jenn at Jenniely has such a strong online presence and is fantastic. She always has the best things to say to help everyone and is ALWAYS there to listen. Jenn constantly supports the community and I feel like her online presence is one that is admired in the community.

Best Personality

Ebs at Ebs and Her Reads has one of the best personalities in this community. She is always so nice and engages so much, even when her life is super busy. Ebs makes me laugh and smile and I always find myself stopping to see what she has to say.

Scrill at Vicariously Voraciously always makes me smile. She cracks me up and I love her personality. She is another blogger that I follow and always look forward to what she has to say.

Friendliest Member of the Community

Evelyn at Evelyn Reads is, in my experience, one of the friendliest people I have come across. She is ALWAYS leaving comments and engaging – where it is something quick and simple or a long comment. I have found myself to really look forward to see what she has to say about my post. Thank you Evelyn for always being so pleasant!

Best at Promoting Diverse Books

Shealea at  Shut Up Shealea – I don’t even think I need to elaborate on why she is my choice for this category.

Merline at Merline Reads gives great recommendations for diverse books also. I don’t know if she notices she does this but I do. And I take her recommendations very seriously.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

Best New Book Blogger (started blog after August 2018)

Via at Starvin for Books is one of my favorite new book bloggers. She started in September 2018 and my goodness the growth of her blog is amazing. Via has put so much time and is posting constantly! I love seeing how much her blog has grown.

Best Small Book Blogger (under 1,000 followers) [two winners!]

Mah at Happy Reading Co is a blog that deserves to be bigger. Even though she may not put out a lot of content like some bloggers – all of her posts mean something. Each post is perfectly thought out and is always set up perfectly.

Best Overall Book Blogger [two winners!]

Rae at Thrifty Bibliophile puts so much work into her posts and blog. I always look forward to what she has to say.

  1. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH. Knowing that people appreciate my reviews really means a lot. I often get insecure with my reviews because I always feel like they’re not good enough but I’m so glad that there are bookdragons who appreciate it as well. It’s an honor to be nominated alongside all these awesome bloggers. Again, thank you! My heart is full with gratitude 😭💕
